Dear Pastors and praying friends,
God has been so good to us through February. It’s been a very busy and exciting month for us. We’ve spent more nights away from home than not. We’ve driven thousands of miles and presented the ministry in 6 states. Through all this, God’s people have responded to the need of the Gospel in Indonesia. We are blessed that churches have partnered with us, and it puts the field more and more in reach every month. It’s humbling and encouraging at the same time.
With a year of deputation behind us, we are looking toward the future and the months that lie ahead. Our survey trip that was rescheduled is coming up in June. I have yet to spend time on the mission field when God hasn’t stirred my heart about reaching those that may never hear. We can hardly wait to be there. This trip will help us not only to be refreshed in our burden but also to show us how to better prepare for the first years on the field. At the rate deputation travels, we will be there before we know it. It’s exciting and unnerving at the same time. Our goal is not just to get there, but to get there and be prepared. Prepared as His servants and ambassadors and prepared to set up our lives there. We’ve already watched as several close friends go through the process of moving to the field, and we’re learning how much is involved. We are trusting the Lord with the many unknowns and working to be better stewards of those we do.
This coming month, we have a full schedule and much of that will be in Ohio, Florida, and Georgia. Thank you for your prayers and thoughts toward us as we travel. We covet those. It’s been a joy for us to be with churches, make friends, and encourage fellow laborers in the Great Commission. Many times we receive more than we are able to give. We are indebted to so many of you all.
To Indonesia with Truth,
Jesse and Faith Turpin
